Linköping, Sweden [February 12, 2018] AMRA has today announced its further commitment to global expansion with the launch of the new company name – AMRA Medical – and web address

The company’s US presence has grown again, now with the latest additions of Steve Gorham and Brian Buckmaster to the team. Steve Gorham, Senior Director, Business Development, boasts a long career in global technology sales and patient engagement solutions for clinical trials and healthcare providers. Brian Buckmaster, Director of Business Development, also brings a strong background of managing global CRO channels and large healthcare solution provider accounts. With these new hires, Jeremy has been promoted to SVP Global Business Development, now managing the business development team, as well as sales across all major markets globally.

Simultaneously, the Linköping, Sweden headquarters has been strengthened with five new team members: Sofia Fransson, Clinical Project Manager; Dan Ragnar, System Administrator; Madeleine Stein, Systems Engineer; Ingegerd Glimsjö, Analysis Engineer and Ylva Jonsson, Analysis Engineer.

AMRA’s expansion has led to the creation of a new company division overseen by Chelsea Ranger, SVP Commercial & Market Strategy, who will drive key business area strategy and growth, partnerships and alliances with industry leaders, and corporate communication.

“In a short amount of time, AMRA established itself internationally: first with a great network of collaborators, now with a strong and dedicated team on the ground to actively support those with whom we work. We are rooted in Sweden, but we are going global,” stated AMRA CEO, Tommy Johansson.

AMRA is a ground-breaking international digital health company at the forefront of medical imaging and precision medicine. The company has developed a new global standard in body composition assessment, the ability to automatically produce multiple fat and muscle biomarkers with unrivaled precision and accuracy, as well as contextual disease insights – all from a single, 6-minute, whole-body MRI. AMRA was founded in 2010 as a spin-off of Linköping University, Sweden, with the aim to support transformative care and vital decision-making from clinical research to health and wellness.
