AMRA is a ground-breaking international digital health company at the forefront of medical imaging and precision medicine. AMRA was founded in 2010 as a spin-off of Linköping University, Sweden, with the aim to support transformative care and vital decision-making from clinical research to health and wellness. Today we are 40 employees and are operating on the US, European and Asian market, with the need to expand.

The company has developed a new global standard in body composition assessment, the ability to automatically produce multiple fat and muscle biomarkers with unrivaled precision and accuracy, as well as contextual disease insights – all from a single whole-body MRI.

We work with the world’s leading pharma companies and academic hospitals in the world.

Job Assignments

We are now looking for a Finance Controller who’s responsibility will be to develop our finance department in cooperation with the company CFO, based in the US, and the Financial Manager, based in Linköping. As Finance Controller you are overall responsible for all monthly financial matters to the company and for providing reports to Senior Management (CFO and CEO) for discussion purposes.

There is an initial need to develop and set up an efficient infrastructure for the financial function at AMRA. This effort is to be coordinated with other company operations and sales teams, throughout the organization and covering sites in different countries. The work will probably involve the use of external consultant and software purchase.

As Finance Controller you would also:

  • Be responsible for development of monthly PL, BS and Cash Flow Statements
  • Create monthly statements for sales pipeline and operations back log
  • Manage all board related documents and preparations
  • Create detailed Job Cost Analysis
  • Be responsible for Group Consolidation
  • Take part in Due Diligence process

The position is placed in Linköping, Sweden.

Who are we looking for?

You most probably have an academic background within the financial field and you also have 5+ years of experience from similar roles. You need previous experience in working with development of efficient methods, processes and introduction of new software support in an international environment.

The position requires an understanding of US GAAP reporting and Swedish accounting law.

You have a very structured and analytical mindset with an ability to combine details and overview perspective. You are interested in developing best practice methods to reach efficiency. You have great interpersonal skills and have a communicative ability both verbally and in writing. Excellent language skills in English and Swedish is required.
